Has anyone done the Frilly Lace Sock from Lorna's Laces? Should I block the lace before I graft the ends together and pick up the slipped stitches to work on the main part of the sock? My gut is telling me that blocking would make it easier, but I'm wondering if anyone has words of advice.

I've never made these but I was thinking about them for a Valentine's Gift, so I can't wait to see the advice.
I decided to block the lace first. I think it was the right choice just because it gave really nice definition to the points of the lace, and I'm not sure I could have done that once the lace was joined into the round.
