Are you bummed too?

So I'm wondering if there are any others out there that are a bit bummed like me? I have always loved this swap and I have more fun collecting items for my partner and then knitting the socks. I love seeing what everyone else gets. And its just as much fun to see my partner loves her goodies and socks. But now I have to admit I am totally bummed. I have not received anything from my partner except a couple email months ago.I sure hope everyone else has gotten there goodies because its a real bummer if you didn't. Sockless in Idaho

Oh no Melanie, I'm so sorry you didn't receive anything. I did hear someone mention something on their blog about being an "angel" so maybe something might still find its way to you. Don't loose hope!

oh melanie - i hear you! i had such a great downstream pal with sitm 1 that it didn't matter so much that my upstream pal completely flaked on me, but really - we all undrstand that life happens. here is hoping that everything turns out fine...

I hear ya. I heard such great things about the first SITM swap that I decided to join this round. I didn't experience this swap to be very well organized and things kind of fell apart it seems. I understand that things happen in people's lives... lord only knows I've been through some rough stuff lately. But I made sure to keep on top of things for my downstream partner, not wanting to disappoint her. I don't know if I'll join this swap if there is a third round.

I, too, was totally shafted by my partner. I got nothing. I also asked to be set up with an angel and AJ promised that something was in the works, but I never heard anything again. I know everyone had busy and difficult lifes during the swap, but I'm really, really disappointed and I'm afraid I've now developed a bad taste for swaps and won't participate in another one. It was too much money to spend and not get anything in return.

Ditto to what Carissa said. I was so very disappointed. I may continue to do Knit Alongs but I'm through with swaps. After all the expense and effort I am glad that my downstream pal enjoyed her package, but...
