Package leaving today...

Hi All! Just a quick note to say that my pal's package will be off this afternoon on it's way to the Midwest. I had a great time during this swap...any news on a SITM3?

I got my package, but I don't know who it is from...mystery woman no doubt. My Pal has been so good to me, sending me packages all along and cards and the socks in this final package are amazing. I am at work but will post pics here and on my blog probably Saturday. Package to my Pal is going out Friday or Saturday the socks are drying right now. This has been a great swap. I haven't done many of the contests, just bought a home in December and have been moving, etc...but I have tried to stop by and read. Terrific group here.

Package Received!

I am SO excited! I received my package today from my pal, Cindy W!! I think she incorporated everything I ever said I liked. The entire package is AMAZING. The lizard project bag - love it! Beautiful handknit socks - and they fit! A wonderful tool kit - because I'm obsessed with gadgets. 2 skeins of sock yarn that I've been drooling over since I started knitting. Socks that Rock in Hwy 30 colorway and Yarntini in Mimosa (and I love mimosas!). Not to mention coffee, tea and chocolates. Thank you, Cindy!!

Wake Up and Smell the Coffee

Sorry for the blurry picture! My pal just sent me this wonderful package. 2 pounds of fantabulous coffee - it's the type that is so strong just smelling it in the morning gives me a buzz! A cool mug to drink it out of, a fun cookbook, wonderful Penzey's Spices...
There's also my favorite chocolate bar (that will be hidden and quietly hoarded) and 2 super sweet bags for my girls. I noticed that I have a little eco-conscious 3 1/2 year old - she took her froggy bag with her "shopping" last night. It was full of play food at bedtime.

Contest Updates

Okay Ladies, I know that there have been several contest as of late. I will be helping AJ out calculating the points and getting them posted. Please be patient with me, as I am old and it takes me time after I eat and sleep to get the brain focused. After I have everything calculated, AJ will do the official contest drawings. I hope to have all of my part done by Saturday....

I have shipped the socks to my pal, hopefully she will like them and they will fit her. As I made a pair of Jaywalkers, I'd like to show them here, but without color, I don't want to give away too much in case she figured out who will be sending her package...

Birthday Goodies

My Pal had emailed me last week letting me know that she had a little extra package coming my way for my birthday! She knows that I am learning to sew and sent a fabric themed goody box to me. Thank you so much pal ... I simply love it!

It's been such a long time

Hello ladies. I apologize for my lack of posting, I've been in and out of surgery, interviewing for babysitters, dealing with a fussy 1 year old who has four new teeth coming in, and trying to keep up with all of my swap/knitting/sewing/beading obligations. Life is rough!

I'm glad to see there a few posts about packages, keep em coming. They look wonderful. If you need an angel please email me at iknit.ipurl(at)yahoo(dot)com. Angels: I will be contacting you soon if we need any fill ins.

I've been horrible about keeping up with the contests, so I have a few to add...we have some very lovely prizes to give out. (They will be sent in March.)

I got a package

My pal sent my an awesome package, I couldn't believe how much yarny goodness came out of this flatrate box:

4 skeins Lion Brand Homespun, 3 skeins Lion Brand Lion Wool Prints and 3 skeins Lion Brand Moonlight Mohair.

Now I just hope that my allergies don't stop me from knitting the wool, sometimes I'm having asthma when knitting commercial wool yarns. But I just love the colors and will try to create something with it for sure.

Wonderful package!

I've already posted on my own blog and it just dawned on me this morning (well duh, Wendy) that I should probably post here. My secret pal is a wonderful person! She sent me a truely me package! There was a lovely note from my secret pal that got me all in a tizzy with wonder as to who she is!!! ooohhhh the excitment builds!!! Along with an awesome colorway of Tofutsies.Also included were some wonderful tea related items that I've already busted into. The photo is a little blurry, don't know why. I love the items all the same!
